  1. Hi.
very usefull post – will follow almost each recomendation. I have read a lot of bad articles about salmon – that it is way far away from healthy food due to fact that it is full with heavy metals and other bad things.
all other tips I took. will start with breakfast. is it important how to prepare eggs? – any good advice how to get maximum protein from that?

    • Hi Lana, The FDA recognizes Salmon as a low-mercury fish and excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids but it’s important to know the source of the fish and eat in moderation. Fish contains vital nutrients, protein, vitamins and minerals so other types of fish lower in mercury you can try are tilapia, shrimp, cod, catfish and tuna (canned-light) which is my favorite and easy go to meal on crazier days. As far as eggs go, you can cook them however you like best whether it be scrambled, poached, hard-boiled or over easy. Just make sure to choose cooking methods that don’t require added fat such as oil to make fried eggs and know that adding cheese to your scrambled eggs or omelets add calories as well. Let me know if you have any other questions as you incorporate the tips into your routine!

  2. This article really is great, I loved the way you conducted your chosen sections.

I’m not too keen on salmon, but eat it in moderation. I feel it gets too much for me when I eat too much.

I was surprised to see chocolate on there, actually dark chocolate. I love dark chocolate but haven’t had it for some time now. How much would you recommend to eat? I don’t want to overdo it.

    • Dark chocolate has so many health benefits because it is rich in flavanols and can be an effective weight loss tool in moderation. I would recommend a daily square which is about 1 ounce but make sure to choose chocolate that is 70 percent cocoa or higher – this is key!
